Hi, I’m Anastasia Beltyukova—an integrated Creative & Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Animation Director with over 20 years of experience (yes, time flies when you’re having fun) and more than 30 industry awards. I don’t just create visuals; I craft ideas, concepts, and stories that bring brands to life across all touchpoints—whether it’s digital, print, motion, or something in between. My work is all about connecting people to brands in ways that feel engaging, authentic, and sometimes a bit whimsical.
I’ve had the joy (and occasional chaos) of working with brands like CNN, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, P&G, NHS, Babylon Health, Migration Museum, The National Lottery, and more. My work has been featured in Steven Heller’s Illustration Idea Book: Inspiration from 50 Masters (no pressure there), Adam Osgood’s Motion Illustration Book, and five volumes of LogoLounge Master Library books! 🙈 I’ve also miraculously managed to land at #2 on Creativepool’s top 20 Creative Influencers list for illustration—still trying to figure out how to nudge to #1! When not juggling deadlines and ideas, I’ve somehow found time to give over 15 public talks and launch exhibitions—including my latest solo show, Nowhere to Go but Anywhere, which was at the Migration Museum in 2024. Currently - a senior creative at Mere Mortals in London, while independently collaborating with selected clients internationally.
Strategic, conceptual, obsessed with stories and archetypes, I find my happy place at the crossroads of branding, design and art. I also mentor early-career illustrators, helping them navigate the industry with minimal tears.
Always open for a chat (especially if coffee is involved)—let’s connect!

Selected Clients
"Beltyukova's influences include the Russian/Soviet artist Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Russian Constructivism, analytical painting in general, and illustrators of the Russian avant-garde."
- STEVEN HELLER
"Anastasia is a talented illustrator with a style that is at once beautiful, elegant, playful and charming. She created a series of nine detailed illustrations of David Bowie through his career within days of his death for an interactive capturing his different looks and styles, a highlight of our creative collaboration. Her fairy tale illustrations remain among the most beautiful pieces CNN has published, and, like the Bowie portraits, were created at breaking news speed."
- RICHARD GREENE, CNN
"I had the opportunity to work with Anastasia to create the illustration system for our new branding. She was incredibly creative and productive, not just when producing the illustrations we asked her but contributing to the ideation process as well with great ideas. She understood exactly what we needed. Her illustrations are going to lift our brand incredibly and can't wait to work with her again!"
- EMMA VASQUEZ, ZAPPI

OK TATA - Indian Street Graphics - is a project that started with my deep fascination with Indian visual culture. It's a collection of images that were collected between 2003 and 2010 in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Kerala, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Goa and Karnataka, including painted trucks and rikshaws, walls, ephemera, Gods, hand painted signs and whats not. To be continued as soon, hopefully!
I co-run and art-direct a small indie label ClearLight Records. I'm responsible for the visual side of things, from designing album covers to directing music videos. Check out our releases, like The Arthur Brothers' debut album 'NINE', which is 'one of the most remarkable debut albums in years and years' - as Music News put it.
